Learn to play Go

Whilst Go is a fabulous game, it does not come naturally to the Western mind. It is not as tight as Chess, requring a less protective attitude to stones you have played.

Traditionally, Go has been taught with the basics of stone capture, often via a simple form of Go called Capture Go. But this emphasises the surrounding of stones rather than territory - a habit that takes many beginners a long time to break.
